| Hard to Kill Biography
|
In June 2003 two friends (Melkor Bloodaxe and Rydall Darkmoon) sat together and
listened to one of the best Black Metal bands ever (Immortal, RIP)
While drinkin' beer they thought it would be great to play Black Metal.
They decided to start a band on there own with a lot of inspiration from Immortal,
Marduk and Dark Funeral. June 2003 Hard to Kill was a fact.
In October that same year Hard to Kill had attracted a vocalist to the line-up by
the name of Cryptkeeper.
It did not last long before Cryptkeeper was kicked out of the band because of the
lack of motivation. He has been removed from the line-up in January 2004.
With the removal of Cryptkeeper, Melkor and Rydall decided to look no further for
a vocalist. From that moment Rydall is the screaming force and Melkor the grunting force for the band.
In August 2004 after playing a long time without a drummer Hard to Kill finally found one.
Danyaël is assisting Melkor and Rydall on the drums from that time on.
In the beginning of 2005, Hard to Kill started to work at the first demo called Demonised.
Demonised was recorded at the end of February and was released at the beginning of March 2005.
Also at that time the first real gig was assigned.
Hard to Kill was the opening act at the local On(w)ijs Festival.
After some gigs as support-act and one as headliner, Hard to Kill wants more…
